The Hotel Rural "Las Nubes" is located on a 260-hectare farm on a hill 6.2 mi from Albalate de Zorita, a 1-hour drive from Madrid. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and stylish accommodations with a private balcony.

Hotel Las Nubes is a hunting ground that also offers horseback riding for a fee. Guests can choose accommodations in a room or in a cave, all equipped with coffee maker and mini-bar.

The caves feature completely white interiors and curved surfaces. They have a hot tub, iPod docking station and private terrace.

- Disappointing Dining & Stressful Departure Our stay was unfortunately marred by extremely poor dining options and a surprisingly hostile departure process. The food at dinner was only average. The breakfast, however, was dreadful and an outrageous value for the €10-€15 cost per person. The "buffet" was pathetic: chocolate cereal, white bread, basic processed meat and cheese, and just one small Spanish tortilla for all guests. There was a shocking absence of any healthy items—not a single slice of tomato, cucumber, or any fresh fruit or vegetables in sight. Both meals were served in an unacceptably short window of just one hour (9:00 - 10:00 AM), making them feel rushed. Finally, the departure felt hostile. As the caves are far from the reception, it takes time to collect belongings. At 11:00 AM, we were aggressively messaged to hurry up and leave, despite being literally outside the reception door. This stressful communication completely undermined the 'zen' atmosphere we were hoping for. Poor value and unwelcoming service. + After a "mystery tour" along the back roads of Guadalajara we came upon this blissful oasis atop hilly terrain overlooking the mighty Tajo and picturesque pastures. It turned out to be a "magical mystery tour" This delightful spot has much to offer. Our detached "cabin" was spacious, air conditioned and extremely comfortable. The communal pool offered relief from the ambient 36C degrees. The staff were delightful and the food excellent, if simple. The peaceful atmosphere and remote location would make this place an appropriate romantic rendezvous for lovers!!!

+ The location was spectacular. Beautiful views. The welcome was very good by Raves ( I think I remember his name correctly, apologies if not). He even rang us to offer support before we left to travel to the hotel. Our room was excellent We had a lovely big balcony overlooking the River Tagus as well as a 4-poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. The evening meal was excellent. All told, we enjoyed our stay.
− In order to reach the property we had to negotiate the most awful track, full of potholes. The jacuzzi bath was a sunken affair and was very difficult to get in and out of. Also, no desk and only 1 chair in the room. The approach road to the property is a challenge,several kms long and full of potholes. 10 km/hr is recommended!
